High-precision, high-speed grinding spindles are TDM's specialty. For decades, we have supplied a wide range of high-precision grinding spindles for internal grinding, external cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, profile grinding, thread grinding, gear grinding, vertical grinding, and more.
The bore and end face runout of all our grinding spindles are strictly controlled within 0.001mm (for rolling bearing spindles) and 0.0001mm (for hydrostatic bearing spindles). Maximum speeds reach up to 180,000 rpm (rolling bearings) and 250,000 rpm (hydrostatic bearings). Spindle interfaces include internal thread, external taper, and internal taper bore (HSK/BT series). Automatic or manual tool change options are available for different applications. We can also equip spindles with online dynamic balancing systems, acoustic emission monitoring, encoders, turning brakes, and other features.
